We won. With this thought PeopleEat team is waking up the last 5 days in a row. What a feeling. Founders League Startup Show in Palazzo Mannheim on the 5th of June 2024 will stay in our hearts forever. In this post we want to live it though again. It all started one month ago, when we were selected out of 600 other startups to pitch on the stage in Palazzo. We had to film 15 sec and 60 sec videos, which would be shown to the audience. Extremely short elevator pitch. It was very important to correctly pack our values into words. We really had to look deep into our hearts to find our real aspirations and visions. And we found them. Two main messages, which fires us up and describes very precisely what we do: "Life is about experiences and the best #experiences are those, shared with your loved ones" "PeopleEat is building up the biggest #restaurant in the world without having one" On the day of the pitch, we drove to Palazzo early in the morning. On our way we were thinking that destiny is full of turning points and you never know what life will bring you next. Back then we had no idea in which mood we would drive back home. 8 pm, show started. It was extremely terrifying to stay behind the scenes and wait for your turn to go on stage. But atmosphere was super friendly and supportive. All #startups turned out to be brilliant personalities with great products and visions. We wished luck, laughed and hugged each other. W1NNAS, Pinù, FYTA - guys you are amazing, and we are happy to share that moment with you! And then it was our turn. We shared our story... and people liked it! We did not make it better or brighter or cooler. We think that everybody who is doing their business should be proud of themselves at any stage. Yes, there are ups and downs and yes, in the beginning it's quite hard. But you go. And this deserves respect. We want to be open and may be help others to see that everything is a a learning process. Several minutes and we are on the stage, waiting for a winner to be announced. Like underwater sound comes "Peeeopleeaat" for us. It took us like 10 seconds to realize it. Crazy feeling. We could not believe it. It was absolutely one of the happiest days in our life. Cool emotions, cool experience. It gives motivation to go forward and believe in your dreams. 🧡 We feel huge support and are thankful to many people around us. Without you it will not be possible. Thank you, FOUNDERS LEAGUE to make it happen, you are amazing team and we wish you the biggest success possible!
