Successful installation of the perma STAR VARIO EX on fin fans in the petrochemical industry in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 Fin fan systems are among the most critical applications in the petrochemical industry. Their main task is to cool process fluids and dissipate the heat generated. To ensure the long-term availability of these systems, regular and efficient lubrication of the bearings and seals is essential. The challenges 🚧 of perfect lubrication of these systems are mainly high speeds and the difficult-to-access lubrication points. But how exactly does perma-tec GmbH & Co. KG help to increase the system availability of such applications and make work safer for the maintenance engineer? ⚙️ By using perma lubrication systems, the end-user ensures that the fan motor and the fan shaft are continuously supplied with fresh lubricant, individually adapted to the need of each lubrication point. This helps to reduce bearing failures by up to 75%. 🦺 With the use of our installation kits we can move the lubrication point via hose lines (up to five meters) to a more accessible location. This reduces the time maintenance personnel has to spend in hazardous areas and thus the risk of accidents at work by up to 90% An additional challenge in the petrochemical industry is that mainly all applications are located in potentially explosive areas ⚠️ which lead to the fact, that not all lubrication systems can be used within these areas. 💥 In order to solve this problem, the perma STAR VARIO EX has all the necessary certifications to be used in explosive zones with gases up to Zone 0 / Div 1 and dusts up to Zone 20 / Div 1.
