🫛 Precision pest control in action! 🪲 Vetorgeo achieved an outstanding 95% acceptance rate for high-quality soybean seeds by remotely managing stink bug infestations during harvest in Brazil. 🚜 By leveraging Agrowing' s advanced sensors, which capture up to 15 spectral bands, the team effectively mapped infestation levels using #PIX4Dfields. This data was used to create a detailed map for variable-rate insecticide application. The map was then sent directly to the spraying equipment’s terminal, enabling automation, reducing input costs, and promoting sustainability by ensuring that only affected areas were treated. Studentai susipažino su programos galimybėmis: duomenų importu, vaizdų jungimu, laiko ribų kūrimu, anotacijomis ir „magic tool“ funkcija preciziniam ūkininkavimui. Pristatymą užbaigėme drono skrydžiu ir duomenų rinkimu iš lauko. Buvo puiku matyti studentus gilinančius žinias apie šią technologiją. Students explored its capabilities, including data import, stitching, boundary creation, annotations, and the “magic tool” for precision agriculture. We wrapped up with a drone flight, capturing field data in real-time. It was great to help students dive into this technology and gain practical experience.
