Enthusiasts all around the world have been waiting for this: In October, we presented the new 911 GT3. And it didn't come alone. To mark the model's 25th anniversary, it launched simultaneously in two versions for the first time: as a track-focused sports car with a rear wing and as a more understated version with a Touring package. The ultimate machine to bring to the roads and circuits! Stepping it up again is also the new 99X Electric, which Porsche Motorsport has unveiled for the next two seasons. With an expressive appearance, it complies with the regulations for the updated third generation of Formula E cars, called GEN3 Evo, and features all-round improved Porsche in-house developments, which we would like to introduce to you in detail. But this wouldn't be Porsche Spotlight if we didn't have even more topics up our sleeves. The only question is: what are you waiting for? One of the unique design elements of the limited Taycan Turbo K-Edition is a special skyline graphic, created by the Sonderwunsch experts at #Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in close collaboration with 포르쉐코리아 / Porsche Korea. The silhouette combines the characteristics of Korean cities, buildings and landscapes. Integrated into this line drawing is the lively cityscape of Seoul, the traditional hanok house with its distinctive roof shape, bridges (the connecting elements of the Korean peninsula and a symbol of its economic power), and the Baekdu-daegan mountain range. Icons of Porsche 2024 The Icons of Porsche festival raised the bar yet again in terms of excitement, community engagement and experience. 28,000 fans turned out for the two-day event in Dubai, including many famous faces from the Porsche world. The event drew particularly strong numbers from Porsche clubs and communities, cementing Icons of Porsche’s reputation as the biggest car festival in the Middle East region. More than a tonne of downforce at 285 km/h. Overall, the new Manthey Kit available for the 911 GT3 RS increases downforce significantly, without increasing drag. At 285 km/h, the 911 GT3 RS with Manthey Kit produces more than 1,000 kg of downforce. This enables higher speeds on fast and medium-speed corners and maximises vehicle stability. Now they have fulfilled a dream they have also shared for a long time. Data mesh favors decentralization of data over centralization of data and fits very well into the decentralized organization at Porsche, highlighting important topics for us like data product thinking. A data product should be accessible from everywhere within the data mesh and, in the best case, exists exactly once avoiding replication. To achieve this, we need systems in which compute and storage are separated, and in which compute and metadata are also separated.
