But what does this mean for all the clothing we’ve accumulated over the years? Let’s think ahead: 🔄 Scenario 1: What if we adopted a deposit system for clothing and textiles, like the one used for bottles? Can discarded fabrics find a second life as soundproofing solutions? At Re-Fresh Global, we are proud to collaborate with the Saxon Textile Research Institute (STFI) to explore the untapped potential of recycled materials and redefine possibilities for synthetic fibers. 🔄 The Problem: Textile residues from chemical recycling are often discarded or incinerated, losing their potential for sustainable reuse. 💡 The Solution: Together with STFI, we’re developing innovative processes to transform these residues into high-quality, sound-absorbing materials. This includes creating acoustic nonwoven components that can be used in various applications, showcasing the versatility of recycled textiles. Such as the insulation walls in MEAVO Office Phone Booths. This project reflects our commitment to discovering new opportunities for synthetic fibers and advancing circular solutions that not only reduce waste but also deliver functional and stylish results.
