This Holiday Season, let’s rethink fashion—for the planet. 🌱 Every year, at least 92 million tons of textile waste end up in landfills. That’s one garbage truck of clothes dumped every second. During the holidays, this number only grows, fueled by overconsumption and fast fashion frenzies. But what if we chose differently? 🌱 Shop vintage instead of new. 🔨 Repair instead of replace. ♻️ Give pre-loved clothes a second chance. At Re-Fresh Global, we believe in reimagining textile waste as a resource. A circular future starts with the choices we make today—and the most sustainable garment is the one that already exists. This Holiday Season, let’s gift the planet a little less waste and a little more care. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and a sustainable New Year! ❤️ 🎄 #CircularEconomy #TextileRecycling #SustainableFashion #ConsciousConsumption Viktoria Kanar, Revital Nadiv, Gal Taylor, Eva Kohne, Aleksandar Kovačević, Andrea Munoz, Yash Das Sharma.

Fast Fashion Waste: What Happens Next? ⏭ With the EU’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for Textiles, the conversation around textile waste is changing—and so must the solutions. 🌎 Here’s the challenge: textile companies must now take responsibility for their products from production to disposal. But what does this mean for all the clothing we’ve accumulated over the years? Let’s think ahead: 🔄 Scenario 1: What if we adopted a deposit system for clothing and textiles, like the one used for bottles? Would consumers be willing to return garments for recycling? 🗑Scenario 2: Can we create better collection systems to keep textiles out of landfills and in the circular economy? 🛠 Scenario 3: Should producers be incentivized—or penalized—based on how easily their clothing can be reused or recycled? At Re-Fresh, we’re all about finding solutions to tackle textile waste. But we want to hear from you. What’s the best way forward? Would you pay a deposit? Do we need smarter systems or stricter rules? #CircularEconomy #EPRforTextiles #SustainableFashion Viktoria Kanar, Revital Nadiv, Gal Taylor, Eva Kohne, Aleksandar Kovačević, Andrea Munoz

What if your office phone booth didn’t just absorb sound, but also textile waste? In Europe alone, millions of tons of textile waste are generated each year, with much of it ending up incinerated or in landfills. But what if we could rethink waste—not as a burden, but as a valuable raw material? 🌱 With Re-Fresh Global’s Re-Sanpulp™, we are transforming post-consumer textile waste into a versatile, innovative pulp with exceptional acoustic properties. And now, we’re bringing this solution to life. 💡The result? The world’s first phone booths made from recycled textile waste—designed and produced right here in Europe. Acoustic interiors that don’t just reduce noise but actively reduce waste. This isn’t just a pilot—it’s proof that circularity works, transforming textile waste into high-performance solutions for modern workspaces. A huge thank you to Todor Madzharov and the MEAVO Office Phone Booths team for the opportunity to collaborate and drive meaningful change. Together, we’re reshaping circularity in the EU and taking another step toward saving our planet. 15-20 billion units of sportswear are produced globally each year—enough to wrap the planet in sneakers and jerseys several times over. Yet, despite this scale, awareness about the textile waste problem within the sports industry remains shockingly low. 👇🏼 Last week, Our co-founder Viktoria Kanar represented Re-Fresh Global at Sports Tech Nation, where she engaged with leading sports clubs and brands. Her conversations shed light on a critical gap: the lack of awareness about the textile waste problem in the sports industry. Her conversations revealed an urgent need for collective action—rethinking how the industry approaches production, consumption, and disposal of textiles. ♻️ The message was clear—it’s time for the sports world to take the lead in tackling textile waste and championing innovative solutions. At Re-Fresh Global, we believe the solution lies in circularity: reimagining waste as a resource. From recycling performance fabrics to creating closed-loop solutions, there’s immense potential for innovation in this space. 🚀 #CircularEconomy #SustainableSports #TextileInnovation

Can discarded fabrics find a second life as soundproofing solutions? At Re-Fresh Global, we are proud to collaborate with the Saxon Textile Research Institute (STFI) to explore the untapped potential of recycled materials and redefine possibilities for synthetic fibers. 🔄 The Problem: Textile residues from chemical recycling are often discarded or incinerated, losing their potential for sustainable reuse. 💡 The Solution: Together with STFI, we’re developing innovative processes to transform these residues into high-quality, sound-absorbing materials. This includes creating acoustic nonwoven components that can be used in various applications, showcasing the versatility of recycled textiles. Such as the insulation walls in MEAVO Office Phone Booths. This project reflects our commitment to discovering new opportunities for synthetic fibers and advancing circular solutions that not only reduce waste but also deliver functional and stylish results. A big thank you to The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action for funding the #Recoustics project and to our colleagues at STFI, including Romy Naumann and Johannes Leis, for their expertise and collaboration. 📢 Want to dive deeper into the future of recycled textiles?
