🌍 This Saturday, I had the pleasure of leading my first volunteer training workshop for 8 aspiring Climate fresk facilitators from the Aachen area. 🌱 While I’ve previously trained over 100 colleagues as part of my professional role, this was my first time supporting the Climate Fresk Deutschland community as a volunteer. It was inspiring to see the passion and commitment of these new facilitators, who are ready to spread climate awareness even further. For those unfamiliar, Climate Fresk workshops use an interactive, science-based approach to educate participants on the complexities of climate change, helping them understand its causes, impacts, and potential solutions. A big thank you to Saint-Gobain Research Germany for generously providing the space for our workshop - it truly made a difference. [#DigitalinConstruction] 🌍 In a world of constant change, the construction industry faces significant challenges. Digital in Construction provides solutions! With technologies like Building Information Modeling (#BIM), digital twins, and automation, we were able to build more sustainably and efficiently. These innovations help us manage risks and make projects future ready. 🤝 Collaboration and partnerships are key to tackling challenges along the entire value chain of construction - whether it’s making data available, implementing and using #AI and #machinelearning, or creating #digitaltwins. This was also the focus of our Digital in Construction event, which fostered exchange and encouraged us to work together on overcoming these challenges. 🚀 During the event, we had a fantastic opportunity to share ideas and explore innovations in the field of digital construction. We brought together inspiring leaders from across our organization to share their experiences, highlighting the challenges they faced and the insights they gained. These open dialogues have been instrumental in breaking down the stigma surrounding failure and promoting a culture of transparency, experimentation, and growth.
