In cooperation with Technische Universität Dresden, we are very pleased to welcome our project partners of the PRIMI project, in which we are involved, to an exciting three-day event here in Dresden this week. 💡 The PRIMI project aims to revolutionize personal robotic systems by integrating neuromorphic engineering, machine intelligence, neurophysiology and psychology to develop robots capable of advanced cognition, mental imagery and theory of mind. By combining energy-efficient event-driven computing with developmental models for human-like thinking, PRIMI aims to create autonomous, socially interactive robots. 0️⃣ Before the official program begins, SpiNNcloud will offer a preparatory workshop on Wednesday, November 27, introducing the SpiNNaker2 platform, its architecture, applications and software stack, as well as tutorials on hybrid model integration. 1️⃣ On the first PRIMI workshop day, Thursday November 28, there will be updates on the status of ongoing PRIMI work packages on cognitive architectures, neuromorphic engineering and interdisciplinary data acquisition. 2️⃣ On Friday 29 November, the second PRIMI workshop day will then focus on management and strategic reviews, with an emphasis on dissemination and knowledge transfer. In this role, I will be responsible for developing the Asian market and increase the sales in the region. This week, we are excited to be in Atlanta, Georgia, where we participate at the #SC24 Supercomputing conference to showcase our cutting-edge #SpiNNaker2 hardware, and to engage in discussions about the future of high-performance computing. Our Head of Applications, Mahmoud Akl, will deliver a demo tomorrow, Wednesday, November 20, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM ET, at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) booth, Demo Station 1. The demo, titled "The SpiNNaker2 Neuromorphic Computing Architecture – LLMs, Optimization, & AI/ML," will feature a groundbreaking 130-million-parameter Mamba state-space model running on SpiNNaker2. Beyond this exciting showcase, we are always eager to connect and have a conversation with you. We’re back to Munich to exhibit at Semicon Europa today and tomorrow (14.-15.11.2024)! My background spans software development, communications engineering, and research, and I am passionate about turning complex technical insights into real-world solutions. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗡𝗡𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱: I’m am joining SpiNNcloud Systems GmbH as a Scientific Business Development Manager. My role will focus on writing proposals and securing funding through public grants. My new position allows me to contribute directly to impactful projects, helping bring innovative ideas to life. 𝗠𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿: A natural talent I bring to my work is breaking down complex problems into clear, manageable parts - a method that keeps projects focused and effective, no matter their complexity.

✈️ We’ve just returned from a successful GITEX GLOBAL Largest Tech & Startup Show in the World in Dubai and are already gearing up for the next event. This time, we’ll be in Singapore at Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) to exhibit our brain-inspired hardware at the German Pavilion, thanks to an invitation from Silicon Saxony and organized under the umbrella of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). 🌐 We’ll be exhibiting from October 28th to 30th, from 9 AM to 6 PM each day, and are looking forward to engaging conversations and new connections. Recently we participated in the “OCTOPUS” status meeting organized by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung) in Bonn as part of the “EVENTS” project. Alongside other topics, we had the opportunity to engage in discussions on cybersecurity, sustainable technologies, and edge computing with other leading experts and stakeholders. It was a great platform to exchange innovative ideas, share insights, and of course to showcase the progress of our “EVENTS” project. Now that we have returned, we are very excited to continue driving this project forward!
