Our TAPROGGE team used the opportunity to attend the various panel discussions, roundtable sessions and networking opportunities of this prestigious event. The highlights included: Progress in the field of desalination and reuse: Breakthroughs in digitization and circular economy to develop robust systems. 🌱 Focus on sustainability: From life-cycle analysis to ESG responsibility, measures to reduce the ecological footprint took the center stage. 💡 Innovation in action: The XPRIZE Water Scarcity initiative presented transformative technologies with an earmarked global funding of US-$ 150 million. It is inspiring to see how such collaboration shapes the future of water management. 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗧𝗔𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗚𝗘 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗧 𝗣𝗟𝗡’𝘀 𝗜𝗻-𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮 From 20 to 22 November, our TAPROGGE team participated as an exhibitor at the Electricity Connect 2024 event organized by PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PT PLN) in Jakarta. For more than 50 years we have been doing business in Indonesia – with over 300 systems installed, the Indonesian market is among the most important ones in Asia, both for our Sales as well as for our After-Sales activities. In cooperation with PT Agape Libratama, our long-standing local agency, we had exciting discussions with visitors and co-exhibitors, strengthened existing contacts and established new partnerships. The future of the Indonesian energy market holds great opportunities: Although as of today coal power accounts for some 40 Percent (approx. 52 GW) of the entire power generation, by 2040 more than 250 coal-fired power plants will be replaced by renewable energies and by gas and steam turbines. Our aim is to contribute to this transformation process and support it with our technological solutions. In the Indonesian power plant sector, the phrase “Oh TAPROGGEEE” has long become a synonym for quality, reliability and innovation. 𝗗𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗔𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗚𝗘 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 – 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗶 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻, 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘅𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴! Das 28. TAPROGGE User Group Training war ein voller Erfolg. In einer intensiven und produktiven Atmosphäre konnten 14 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer aus den unterschiedlichsten Bereichen ihr Wissen rund um die TAPROGGE-Technologien erweitern und in der Praxis erproben. An drei Tagen gab es eine ideale Mischung aus interaktiven Workshops und Trainings voller Know-how, in denen die spezifischen Fragen und Herausforderungen unserer Anwender im Mittelpunkt standen. Die Einblicke in unsere Anlagen- und Kugelproduktion sowie die zahlreichen Praxisbeispiele stießen ebenso auf großes Interesse wie der Austausch von Best Practices, die den Teilnehmern neue Impulse für ihre tägliche Arbeit gaben. Neben dem intensiven Wissenstransfer stand auch das Networking im Mittelpunkt. Der direkte Kontakt zu Branchenkollegen, die Teil einer wachsenden Community sind, ermöglichte es, wertvolle Kontakte zu knüpfen und den Austausch weiter zu fördern. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle Teilnehmer und Referenten, die mit ihrem Engagement zu dieser gelungenen Veranstaltung beigetragen haben. Wir freuen uns darauf, diese Community weiter wachsen zu sehen und gemeinsam die Zukunft der TAPROGGE-Technologien zu gestalten! Today, for example, we are celebrating together with colleagues, customers and business partners the 🎈40 years of service with the company of Mr Jörg Barthelmes. On 1 November 1984 he made his first step into our company. After eight years as a service engineer, he took over the responsibility as Director Service and later on in 2004 as Director Sales. In his position, he is not only in charge of the sales territories in Hong Kong, Macao, South Africa, Cuba and Taiwan but he is also the focal point for all subsidiaries and has hence travelled the world. As a joint project between Shachi Engineering and KLAREN Technology, the first Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant in the oleochemical industry was put into operation and marks an important milestone in this sector. The successful implementation is a reference for our commitment to sustainable industrial solutions. It enables longer operating times and unrivalled performance for ZLD plants. The triple-effect evaporators and the ATFD dryer ensure maximum efficiency. Thanks to KLAREN's self-cleaning technology and backwash function, scaling – a common problem with oleochemical wastewater that conventional systems are often unable to solve – is effectively minimized. This saves time and costs during maintenance and operation.
