⚙️💧Accelerating Innovation: A Landmark Runner Project in the Philippines We’re proud to celebrate the successful delivery and operation of a Pelton runner for the Sibulan-A hydropower plant. Following 2,500 hours of smooth performance and a positive inspection by the customer's team, the runner has set a new benchmark for efficiency and customer satisfaction. 🚀 Highlights of the project: 👉 Optimized design and seamless manufacturing at our Vadodara facility in India. 👉 Record delivery time of seven months—a breakthrough for regional manufacturing. 👉 Strong collaboration with Hedcor, a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power, which operates 22 run-of-river hydropower plants in the Philippines. This project marked a shift, as Hedcor chose a fully forged Pelton runner from our regional factory instead of traditionally sourcing from Europe. Despite challenges, close teamwork enabled us to deliver with speed and precision, demonstrating the potential to extend our expertise to non-OEM components. 🔧 Reliable solutions for #PumpedStorage in the Philippines At the Kalayaan-2 pumped storage plant, we successfully delivered and implemented an upgrade project in December 2023. This achievement led to a follow-up order for the 366 MW Kalayaan-1 plant in early 2024. Collaborating with CBK Power Company Ltd., we modernized the existing Approaching Control and Rotation Control Slide Valve system, originally supplied by another provider. Starting in early 2023, we ensured a seamless and timely completion within the same year, earning recognition for our swift response and early material deliveries. Our flexible approach, combined with onshore support and a detailed project scope, highlights our commitment to exceeding client expectations. The Kalayaan 1 and 2 plants, operated by CBK Power - a joint venture of J-Power and Sumitomo Corporation - together deliver an impressive 736 MW of clean energy capacity.

Despite operating in a challenging market environment characterized by weak economic activity and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty, #Voith achieved a solid financial performance in the past fiscal year. 🎉 A milestone for clean energy! 🎉 On November 30, 2024, Unit 5 of the State Grid Xinyuan Liaoning Qingyuan #PumpedStorage power station successfully completed its 15-day trial run and is now officially in operation. The unit demonstrated stable performance across all operating conditions, meeting design expectations and earning high praise from our customer. 🙌 We are proud to contribute to the advancement of pumped storage and look forward to driving the future of renewable energy together. 💧🌍
