“Could you quickly press the button for me please?” - You’re not going to hear that from us anymore! 🚗🔑 What do you do when the necessary technology for your testing needs doesn't exist yet? At Volkswagen Infotainment, the answer is simple: we build it ourselves! When faced with challenges, we don’t settle – we adapt, innovate, and overcome. This embodies our #OctopusSpirit 🐙: flexibility, versatility, and the autonomy to create solutions that inspire.    Recently, one of our test teams encountered a hurdle: testing car key functions remotely. 🔑 The problem? These tests require someone to physically press the buttons on the key – less than ideal for remote work. Enter innovation and initiative!💡     Our colleague Ulrich took on this challenge and developed together with his former working student Amir a clever solution: a remote-operated device for pressing car key buttons! Together, they created a system allowing testers to simulate real-world scenarios like locking/unlocking 🔑, activating sleep modes 💤, and resetting alarms 🚨 – entirely remotely.
