Important Disclosure: This page was created shortly after the G20's Think Tank 20 Summit which in 2017 had its rotating presidency in Germany. This Linkedin page was created by, and is actively run by the Young Global Changers themselves. The Think 20 are mandated by the 2017 German presidency of the Group of Twenty (G20). The G20 think tank network (T20) is called upon to identify and collect the most relevant insights from the world’s leading think tanks to provide research-based solution proposals. The summit addresses key global issues such as financial resilience, sustainable development, migration, climate change and digitalisation.
As part of the Global Solutions Summit, 2017 marked the first year of the YOUNG GLOBAL CHANGERS programme where 100+ young individuals each representing our own country, added to the programme's diversity by connecting a lot of our experiences and local perspectives to those at the top, while also being called to present our industry work in the summit.
As Young Global Changers our focus is in making sure the summit is "NOT JUST ANOTHER CONFERENCE" but rather a platform in which we join forces to "turn inspiration into action". Now five years in, the group has only grown stronger, we have our voices represented across many countries in the world and across different industries, but most importantly, this group has, through its own efforts remained connected and highly engaged - something which has helped its members collaborate and execute on each of their initiatives and projects targeting key global issues.
Again, for full disclosure, this page was created by and is actively managed by the Young Global Changers themselves.
