Why is the production of defect-free photomasks so essential? As every defect on the photomask will be printed multiple times on the wafer resulting in defective microchips. 🤯 How does it work? A targeted reaction between a focused electron-beam and gas makes it possible to repair the smallest defects on photomasks – even up to a structure size of 10 nanometers 🔍.
