Yesterday, the ARD Morgenmagazin team visited our warehouse and training centre in Cologne and discussed the record-breaking year of 2023 with our Managing Director Germany, Taner Karacan. In Germany, over one million new solar systems were installed last year! The BSW - Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e.V. predicts that the photovoltaic boom will continue this year due to increasing electricity prices and favourable subsidy conditions. 🌞Proudly presenting one of the first of its kind: #Aluminium made without direct CO2-emissions, in a process where inert anodes replaced the traditional carbon anodes that have been used for more than 100 years. The carbon anodes have been a major source of CO2-emissions in aluminium production during all this time.
