The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) is coming!   The final version of the PPWR was approved by the European Parliament. Once the regulation is published in the Official Journal of the EU, it enters into force 20 days later and applies 18 months thereafter.    Now is the time to prepare, as the regulation applies to the entire life cycle of packaging and all packaging waste regardless of the material used and its origins.   The main objective is to foster a circular economy and sustainable packaging by focusing on three main goals: Reduce, Reuse & Recycle, i.e.:   👉 Reduce empty space and packaging waste 👉 Reuse & refill packaging within re-use systems 👉 Raise recycling rates and the use of recycled materials    For more information, stay tuned! #ppwr #sustainablepackaging
