Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist in der Gasse, sauber und komfortabel, aber der Preis für Getränke (500 ml Wasser) für einheimische Gäste beträgt 17.000 IDR, was ziemlich teuer ist.

Good quiet place. 10 min by walk to the beach, many restaurants, shops, 24-hours supermarkets around.
Breakfast is only rice or noodles with coffee…

Séjour de 48h sur Sanur chez Abyan Guest House : chambre très propre et confortable en tout point. L’accueil est sympathique, la piscine y est agréable en fin de journée. Je pense qu’il manque juste de quoi étendre ses affaires trempées pour que tout soit parfait (recommandations pour la guest house). Allez les y les yeux fermés.

Ich empfehle es nicht, es ist sehr eng für 12 Zimmer (24 Gäste). Von mehreren Zimmern aus hat man einen direkten Blick auf die Mauer. Schlechte Servicequalität. Es stimmt, dass der Preis auch niedrig ist. Es gibt keinen Platz zum Trocknen von Badebekleidung und Handtüchern. Trockner fehlen. Das Zimmer wurde in 6 Tagen nicht einmal gereinigt. Laute Klimaanlage stört nachts. Wir hätten die Google-Bewertungen früher lesen sollen.

We found the hotel on Agoda and wanted to check it out before booking. The staff showed us a room on the ground floor with a view of the pool which was still available. We had a look at it and decided to book. When we asked where we could get the better price, he suggested booking directly online on Agoda as they offer special deals. When booking I specifically asked if this room was the one he had shown us and he said yes. After booking, he wanted to take a picture of the booking confirmation, which should have appeared on his site immediately. He made us wait 10 minutes to get confirmation from his manager and then told us that the room I had booked was already booked by other guests and that all the rooms on the ground floor were fully booked. The only free space would be on the first floor. The hotel room assigned to us was absolutely not comparable to the rooms on the ground floor. The paint was peeling off the wall, the faucet had previous guests' toothpaste on it, and the TV didn't work at all, not even with local TV channels. The air conditioning was unbearably loud, it sounded as if there was a moving truck in front of the room and we had difficulty sleeping. We left the air conditioning on at 17 degrees for over 8 hours and the room was rarely less than 27 degrees at night. During the day the room was unbearably hot as the AC wasn't really working and the sun was shining directly into it. It turned out that the pool view room we booked had a view of power cables and rooftops and the balcony view was absolutely uninviting. The pool appears clean but the water was full of chemicals that felt like a film between your fingers and the pool furniture was badly stained and was half falling apart. I already had the bad feeling that this “the room is already booked” story was just made up and I was right. Some rooms on the ground floor were still unoccupied late in the evening and still empty the next morning! It’s an unbounded cheek to act as if this room was already booked and to show us a nice room first and then give us the broom closet after booking. We live in Bali and run a hotel ourselves and this is anything but service. We will 100% not come back and will not recommend this hotel to anyone! Since I have now read other Google reviews and the owner likes to claim that it is a fake review when there are bad reviews, I have attached the booking confirmation and a few photos. If you would like to have a pleasant holiday, better book somewhere else!

A great value for money guest house / hotel. It is located a short walk from Sanur beach in a calmly area. The room has all you expect, fine area with pool, fine breakfast, nice owner and nice price..

Better stay away from this place if you dont want to experience the worst service in your life. Attitude is number one which they simply dont have and lack of knowledge how to handle customer needs. My biggest regret ever especially booking this place via That A website

Worst hotel owner I’ve encountered with. I suppose to stay for 2 nights, booked through Ag*da and paid. Upon check in, at the front desk which located outside, I can hear a loud banging construction workers behind the property . Turns out my room is right behind it upstairs . I chose a balcony room. I ask if I can move to room downstair, across the building to avoid noise. I stay there cause I wanna spend weekend in sanur and also work from hotel. We ask the desk guy to call the owner again because they want to charge us another 100k. Greedy. I told her, i move to avoid the noise, the room is the same, its not upgrade nor have private pool or private kitchen or whatever, its a similar type. Even at Ag*da , the rate for balcony or not is same. She got really rude and as a hotel owner her behaviour is amazing. She did offer us another room for free but that room located right underneath my original balcony room which wont help. At the end she eventually say “you know what?! call Ag*da and ask for a refund .” And then hang up on me. I request refund process and then get denied by her. Ag*da doesnt help as well and side with this place. As their customer as wel, i feel theres no guarantee for us if this happens. No win win or partially refund as this isnt our problem. I even request a non smoking,large bed, quite room. She replied but dont bother to respond in regards to quiet room cause she knows its not quiet. I hope you get your own karma by taking money that doesnt belong to you. I dont get what I deserve, I dont stay, and I still get charged for something that is affecting your property. Yes you can say it might not be your problem for the construction but that means you dont care of your guest needs. You just want the money.

Looking for peaceful place to stay in Sanur? You came to the wrong place. Upon arriving we immediately heard drilling and pounding. Not what you want to hear when you are checking in. The next door building was demolished and the boy in the office said the construction goes on till 5pm . While of course its not the hotels fault we asked to stay in another room away from that side of the construction which we were told was available. Then the staff member told us we can move if we pay an extra 100k because the other room was garden view which in reality was just another average room . Even though on agoda they are the same price. Then we get on the phone with the owner and Ive never dealt with such an arrogant disrespectful hotel owner in all of Bali. She could care less and suggest moving us to a room below our original room even closer to the noise. She wouldn't budge on the 100k, which at that point its not about the money its the fact you are in hospitality business and treating your customer terribly. Then she says "If you want a refund contact Agoda and hung up". We did and they said she wouldn't refund. Then to top it off as we were leaving I was having a look at a plastic sign leaning against the wall in parking, one of the congratulatory signs business have when opening. Just to see if the shameful owners name was on it when the little boy in the office comes out aggressive and cursing as If I am trying to steal a 1x2 meter flimsy sign lol. So if you are looking for the typical Balinese hospitality you wont find it here, only the usual Balinese incompetence and greed. Dont stay here.

Have been to Bali several times and the Guest house is fantastic. Sri & Paul were really efficient communicating with us before our arrival. Pick up from the airport was smooth and efficient as we arrived late at night. Greeting on arrival fantastic from Paul and the guest house and room are spotless. You could pay a lot more and would not receive the same level of service. Very well located for the main road with all the restaurants and a short walk also to the beach. A great find which we will use often in the future.
