DFDS crews aboard the M/S Crown Seaways are now enjoying accurate and reliable RPM readings thanks to a custom XDi solution by DEIF The fluctuating and incorrect readings from the main engine turbochargers were solved by replacing outdated analogue systems with DEIF’s XDi bridge indicator and DX1 digital I/O extension module. The new system proved stable, precise, and capable of measuring high-speed RPM directly from turbocharger sensors, improving both performance and ease of use for the crew.
