📣 Last Call for Registration – Join Rebuild Green Hackathon 2024! 📣 You still have the chance to become a part of this inspiring event and contribute to the realization of one of the exciting projects set for team collaboration. ❗Don’t hesitate ❗ Join today❗ ✍ To register, please fill out the form at this link: https://lnkd.in/di9vQxBA Please indicate whether you will join with or without a team and which specific project interests you, or if you have no particular preference. 🔑 Key Dates & Events (GMT+3): 🔹October 5 (11:00 – 14:00): The first mentoring session, where teams can ask up to three live questions to mentors. Additional questions can be submitted through a shared document. 🔹October 12 (11:00 – 13:00): A session dedicated to structuring presentations for Demo Day, led by a mentor. 🔹October 19 (11:00 – 14:00): A presentation "crash test" with mentors, where teams will receive feedback to improve their presentations for Demo Day. 🔹October 23 (Demo Day): Final project presentations to the jury. Teams will need to record a 10-minute video presentation of their project and be ready to respond to the jury's questions either online or in person. 🏆 The winners of each category will have the opportunity to implement their projects in the respective communities, and the overall Hackathon winner will receive free Modulina Straw Panels for constructing their project, covering up to 200 sqm of wall area. Additionally, the winner will receive support from the municipality and international partners for implementing the project within one year after the Hackathon. Criteria for Judging: 📌⁠Feasibility of implementing the project within one year. 📌Environmental sustainability and alignment with green development principles. 📌Optimal budget for project implementation. 📌Team potential for effective implementation. 📌Social impact of the project. 📌Innovativeness of solutions. Saturday we co-hosted the Rebuild Green Kick Off event in the beautiful surroundings of The European-Ukrainian Hub here in Copenhagen. We wish to thank the keynote and Panel Speakers who did an amazing job!  Laurynas Marcinkus, the Lead Architectural Engineer at Modulina Straw Panels, Veronika Rulli, project manager at Danske Iværksættere - Danish Entrepreneurs & The European-Ukrainian Hub and Jacob Hartmann, Senior Consultant and Advisor at Sharing Copenhagen all gave interesting keynote speeches and engaged in a great panel talk, moderated by DISIEs CEO Anne Katrine Heje Larsen. It was a day full of good and valuable insights and here’s the key takeaways:    💡 We need to involve all aspects of the rebuilding process 👀 We need to get inspired and copy what works in other cities 💞 In order to secure a sustainable rebuilding, social and cultural innovation are necessary means to succeed 🫶 We need to work together! JOIN US AT THE KICK OFF EVENT THIS SATURDAY! 🥊 🏗️🌱 Rebuild Green hackathon is an international initiative to promote environmentally friendly construction and reconstruction in #Ukraine using bio-based materials, fully aligned with the #EuropeanGreenDeal. On saturday September 21th, we will have a Kick Off event in Copenhagen and we have invited some really interesting people to do keynote speeches and a panel talk: 🌾 Laurynas Marcinkus is the Lead Architectural Engineer at Modulina Straw Panels, a Lithuanian manufacturer of sustainable, Bio-based building materials.  Most recently, together with a range of other businesses he developed "Nest House", a prototype  of scalable housing systems that nurture healthy living spaces for both inhabitants and the planet. 💡 Jacob Hartmann is a Senior Consultant and Advisor at Sharing Copenhagen who works with urban development that supports social, cultural and sustainable projects, by building relationships between sustainable businesses, entrepreneurs, and the municipality. 🌟 Veronika Rulli is a project manager at Danske Iværksættere - Danish Entrepreneurs & The European-Ukrainian Hub. She’s working on several initiatives within business development including one that involves both Ukrainian and Scandinavian youth. The project is designed to teach the younger generation the principles of responsible entrepreneurship.
