A great event in Finland and an even greater start for Switzerland! 🇨🇭 We are thrilled to announce, that the Swiss startup AiMorphous Health won the #YScience Pharma Pitching Competition at Slush! 🎉 Also this year, Swissnex was a partner of Y Science, an event that originates from a collaboration between Slush and the University of Helsinki, organized by the Helsinki Institute of Life Science (HiLIFE) together with Helsinki Innovation Services Ltd, Orion Pharma Ltd, Viikki Food Design Factory and Aalto University. Furthermore, Swissnex was also invited to be part of the jury and to present the winner of the competition on stage. What can Switzerland and Denmark learn from each other in the field of higher education? 💼📝   The Swiss Embassy in Denmark had the pleasure to hold a reception on the occasion of the Nordic Study Trip ETH Zürich – University of Zurich.   The first input presentation by Ambassador Mauro Reina touched upon Swiss-Danish collaboration in education, research and innovation. Then Patrizia Marchegiani, of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science and explained the university reform in Denmark, followed by the insights of Thomas Bjørnholm of the Villum Fonden on the Danish Science landscape and the crucial role of foundations in financing research and education.   The three presentations sparked an engaged discussion about the differences, similarities and shared challenges in Swiss and Danish academia and science. 🇩🇰🤝🇨🇭   A big thank you to all the speakers and participants for contributing to this interesting evening! #education #innovation #research #science #Switzerland #Denmark
