Successful PhD and postdoc conference ✔ The Global Wetland Center was well represented at the Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management, University of Copenhagen PhD and postdoc conference, with exciting presentations by our PhD students Frederikke Krogh Corydon, Paul Senty, and Hans Frederik Engvej Hansen. Frederikke obtained one of the prizes for best oral presentation - congratulations! 🎉 The PhD and postdoc conference was again a very inspiring event with lots of interesting oral presentations and posters by IGN’s early career scientists. Thank you to all participants for making the PhD and Postdoc Conference at the Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management, University of Copenhagen, such a success! The conference showcased the incredible research diversity within our department, with engaging presentations on topics including coffee production, plastic degradation, wetlands, fire-retardant wood, carbon storage, forestry, remote sensing, and modeling. This year, we highlighted the importance of building professional confidence early in our careers, featuring an insightful workshop on the Imposter Phenomenon by Bodil Øster. Finally, a huge thanks to my fellow coordinators from the IGN Early Career Association. Together, we continue to foster collaboration and strengthen connections among early career researchers.
