Om os
Minds Anonymous provides a safe space to share your mental health stories anonymously. Our content is a mixture of lived experience stories from anonymous contributors and supporting content from experts working within the mental health sector. By increasing the understanding of mental health conditions we hope to abolish stigma. A powerful story can change a life. Let us share yours. Our Beliefs: Minds Anonymous is an initiative set up to end the stigma that surrounds mental health, offer support to those that suffer and increase understanding of common and uncommon mental health conditions. By sharing stories of real life mental health experiences, we aim to prove that managing mental health is simply part of being human. We may face individual challenges, but by learning about each other, we are in a stronger place to support one another.

A powerful story of one anonymous writer’s experience of self harm casually cropping up in an art lesson and how it triggered a spell of sadness due to their own experience of #selfharm. Thank you brave contributor for sharing your truth with our community. We hope and believe your story will comfort others who may have experienced something similar. Minds Anonymous provides a safe space to share your #mentalhealth and #mentalillness related stories anonymously. Thank you to Joanna Barbolla for interviewing me on your #podcast and allowing me to use this clip to introduce my #mentalhealthinitiative, which I launched in 2020. Thanks also to Jack Leatherbarrow for composing the Minds Anonymous music which plays in the background of this short #video. You are a musical genius Jack and it was wonderful to work with you on this. If you’re interested, this will give you some insight into my #charitywork which is very close to my heart. (Forgive the nasal voice! Blame the dog! Turns out I’m allergic 😂 - who knew?) If you would like to get involved in our not-for-profit and help #reducementalhealthstimga please reach out. I am actively seeking partners to help me grow this platform to give access to more people across the globe to our written, audio and video content. If you are struggling with your mental health please take a look at our supporting articles, written by professionals in the mental health sector. With special thanks to our in house counsellor/psychotherapist Gill Jardine for providing so many fantastic support articles on managing mental health. I am a huge believer in writing as a form of therapy - it sure helps me! Thank you for reading 🩵 A powerful story can change a life… https://lnkd.in/e_uvSv_F

Learn about the Emotional Barometer and how it might help you help other people and vice versa. This is our latest support article written by Counsellor/Psychotherapist Gill Seaton-Jardine and our founder Louisa "Wizzi" Magnussen. "The emotional barometer could be used to gauge your own emotional condition but also others around you. Perhaps you and one good friend or family member could synchronise your barometers and use these to let each other know when you want support and to share with each other and when you do not. As you become more used to the idea, you will become more adept at helping each other at the right time and learning how to simply be there quietly when needed." https://lnkd.in/etZw9i_B
