As the year is coming to an end, Team M&J Recycling wishes you and your loved ones Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a great New Year. We want to thank all our colleagues, authorised distributors and service providers, business partners, stakeholders and friends for 2024 and hope the coming year will be prosperous.

This week is always a very special time of year at M&J. Our colleagues from around the world travel to our headquarters in Denmark to participate in our Christmas celebrations. During the week, we have had several product trainings, workshops, and sparring sessions. The global sales team has also met to align expectations and targets for the year to come. Now, we’re looking forward to finishing this great week in style with our annual Christmas party, which will be based on old Danish traditions, before the team heads home.

If you enter our factory at our headquarters in Horsens, Denmark, you’ll feel a buzz of excitement. Our production team is getting a shipment of six fine-shredders ready to be sent out. It’s always a proud moment when careful planning and assembly culminate in our shredders being shipped to a happy customer. Soon, they’ll be shredding plastic waste at a facility in Houston, Texas :)

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming technicians from Midwest Recycling Equipment and Waste 2 Solutions Service Group, two of our trusted American partners, to our headquarters in Denmark. The skilled technicians were here to build practical and theoretical knowledge in machinery design, safety protocols, troubleshooting and maintenance. At the end of the training, all technicians were certified to perform service and preventive maintenance on hydraulic-driven stationary pre-shredders and hydraulic and electric-driven fine-shredders. We wish both teams congratulations on the certification; we loved having you here. Yesterday, the M&J team and their families celebrated World Children's Day with a Christmas event at our headquarters and what a great afternoon it was.   We decorated the Christmas tree together, had traditional Danish Christmas snacks and listened to seasonal music.   The children made hearts with their names on them and hung them as ornaments on the tree. We were lucky that even Santa visited.   Thanks to everyone who joined our World Children's Day event – we loved having you here.   Read more about World Children's Day and why it's so important to promote children's rights and welfare at https://lnkd.in/eqfjFV9M

It's World Children's Day today, and as part of Ahlström Collective Impact, we are joining forces with Suomen UNICEF – UNICEF Finland to promote children's rights and welfare. The right to quality education is a critical part of this, as education can reduce inequality and poverty and contribute to societal stability and sustainable development – making it an incredibly important cause. To raise awareness about this, we at M&J Recycling will celebrate World Children's Day with a Christmas event. Later today, the M&J team and their families are invited to our headquarters. Together, we and our loved ones will decorate our Christmas tree, enjoy traditional Danish Christmas, sing together, and, if we're lucky, Santa will bring surprises for the children. Maybe our event today can serve as inspiration for your own World Children's Day activities, or perhaps you prefer to do something else.
