  • 25 YEARS OF LOYAL SERVICE Recently, we celebrated Dennis Sidor Andersen, who has been a part of NorSea Denmark since December 1999! Dennis has always been a loyal and reliable colleague. His devotion and dedication have been invaluable to our team and daily operations. Dennis' colleague and union representative, Tommy Christensen, has known him for many years and does not hold back in his praise for his colleague and friend: “We are very grateful to have Dennis on the team, and we look forward to many more years with his cheerful presence. He always puts in a great effort, and therefore, he should of course be celebrated with breakfast and speeches on an occasion like this.” The man of the hour, Dennis, is happy to clock in at the harbor every morning: “The camaraderie here is strong, and our working conditions are top-notch. We have a lot of freedom, and it just creates a spirit that makes it a great experience to go to work.” Our base operations run smoothly precisely because of exemplary characters like Dennis, so let’s all take a moment to celebrate this milestone and send our congratulations to the honoree!

  • REDUCING THE CARBON FOOTPRINT IN EVERY STEP OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN At NorSea Denmark we have an ambitious aim to become the world’s first carbon neutral supply base, and this comes alongside the aim to help our customers and partners reduce their carbon footprint throughout every step of the supply chain. In today’s infrastructure, one of the harder areas to transition is the heavy road transportation, and for many, this step in the supply chain is unfeasible to skip - needless to say, materials, goods or products have to be transported from A to B somehow. At NorSea Denmark, we are pushing the boundaries of the transition to carbon neutrality in our customer’s supply chains by offering fully electrical road distribution in the Esbjerg area in our Mercedes eActros truck. 💪 Capacity for up to 15 pallets and 8400 kg 🚛 Driving upwards to 300 km on 1 charge 🔋Charges from 20% to 80% in under 30 minutes Are you aiming to reduce the carbon footprint in more areas of your company’s supply chain? Reach out to Henrik Schmidt to hear more about how we can help, checking heavy road distribution off that list: https://lnkd.in/dNBZzWxc

  • NORSEA DENMARK IN PURSUIT OF GROWTH-POTENTIAL IN ENERGY LOGISTICS NorSea Denmark has a well-established road network all around the North Sea. Now, with the ambition of further supporting the energy sector, we are focusing on expanding our area and securing more complete supply chains aimed at the North Sea’s energy logistics. “Energy logistics is a unique domain,” newly appointed General Manager of Road, Søren Jensen, says. “There is a significant security aspect and an expected understanding of the value chain that few can meet. At NorSea Denmark, we have demonstrated that there are synergies in combining strong competencies in energy and logistics, and we aim to expand this to more areas,” he says. The North Sea is a hub for copious activity across all sections of the energy industry. NorSea Denmark’s network of contacts with many players within the energy sector must be activated to ensure further efficiency improvements in logistics solutions and propositions. “NorSea Denmark has the traffic as well as deep insights into the energy industry. Combined, these areas of expertise give a great contact surface that provides knowledge and efficient solutions to make the North Sea a concentrated center point for offshore energy and logistics,” Søren Jensen concludes.
