Congratulations to the winner of the World Architecture Festival Sustainability Prize, supported by ROCKWOOL Group – the White Renovation by Olgoo Office! 🏆 Comments from the judges: The boundaries of this project live far outside the building envelope. The project is an inspiring retrofit that sets a new standard for how a building that seemed almost impossible to reuse is given a new future. The jury appreciates the great creativity in how the program, the existing structure and the broader context were handled. The result is a dynamic game of closing, opening and different light conditions. The relation between building and surroundings change within the rhythm of day and night. It's day 2 of the World Architecture Festival in Singapore! The topic of the day was energy efficiency and the road to net zero by 2050. ROCKWOOL Group had partnered up with CK Tang to take the main stage at #WAF24 to shed light on the critical role of energy efficiency and retrofits in existing buildings and their significant contributions to carbon reduction.   Following the presentation, paul finch, Programme Director of the World Architecture Festival, led an insightful panel discussion with Richard Maimon, Partner at KieranTimberlake, and Ron Pickering, Business Unit Director of ROCKWOOL Asia, on this important topic.   And this is just the beginning!
