Curious about what goes on behind the scenes at our factories? 🏭 Join us as we explore the wool production process last Friday! 👷♂️ 🛠️ In Małkinia, we learned all about the wool production process, guided by our Production Line Manager. We were introduced to each stage from melting to packaging, and the Offline Production Manager presented the Grodan product line. The visit sparked numerous questions and deepened our understanding. 🔍 Meanwhile, in Cigacice, we explored modern and technically advanced Rockfon production line, analytical laboratory, and the main mineral wool production line. The Cigacice Factory Manager welcomed us with an introduction and a presentation on ROCKWOOL Polska’s business scale and safety rules. Uniting for a sustainable future during Climate Week🗽 The ROCKWOOL Group team returned to Denmark after a productive time in New York City during Climate Week. Discussions on policies and programs for deep renovation and reducing CO2 emissions in the building sector were key. Emphasis on the built environment shows up the importance of expediting the adoption of effective strategies for energy efficiency. During meetups, ROCKWOOL’s CEO Jes Munk Hansen and SVP Mirella Amalia Vitale highlighted the message that as a collective, we have the knowledge to make a positive impact, we need to take action. Jes advocated for stricter benchmarks in energy efficiency, circularity, and fire safety for the built environment. Mirella underlined the importance of overcoming obstacles in electrifying industry.   We are grateful to The Climate Group, WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Goals House, Corporate Leaders Groups Europe, Confederation of Danish Industries, Danish Consul General, and Danish Consul General for their support.
