💡 It’s not just about how bright the light is - it’s about how long it stays that bright. When selecting LED lighting, many people focus solely on the lumen rating and the runtime - the measure of brightness and how long that brightness lasts. But there’s a crucial aspect often overlooked: ❗️The light curve❗️ The light curve actually show you how an LED’s brightness changes over time, and not just how bright it is in the first 30 seconds and how long it takes for it to drop below 10% of that, which is the official ANSI/NEMA FL-1 standard. 🔦 So how have we ensured a longer light curve? At SUPRABEAM, we have developed our batteries to ensure you have the most amount of light for the longest possible time. Our DC converter technology dims the light gradually, considering: * heat development and * general energy consumption You yourself are also able to take control over the runtime, by dimming or intensifying your LED-light. Many LED products start with high brightness but lose intensity quickly, as their lumen output drops significantly over time. They might still contain a long runtime, though, because the lumen output stays just above 10% for a long period of time. 📈This means that two lights with the same lumen rating may perform very differently after just a few minutes or hours📉 A high initial lumen rating is only valuable if the light can sustain it! A longer light curve means the brightness remains consistent over a greater period of time before it begins to fade, ensuring you the most amount of light for the longest possible time.
