🎄 Season’s Greetings from Volkers Remarkable Talent! 🎄 As we wrap up another year and approach the festive season, I find myself reflecting on the journey we have traveled together in 2024, marking Volkers Remarkable Talent's most bustling and rewarding year yet. This year, our team's passport pages filled up fast with assignments in Mexico, Jamaica, Vietnam, Italy, Belgium, France, and Lithuania. Each destination was more than just a pin on the map; it was an opportunity to connect deeply with diverse cultures and clients, enriching our understanding and approach towards international executive search and leadership advisory. We have been privileged to lead searches for pivotal roles worldwide, ranging from Chief Science and Innovation Officers to Global Program Directors in Wheat and Maize, alongside key roles in operations, transformation, engagement, human resources, inclusion, and risk management. The trust placed in us to fill these roles is not taken lightly, and I am excited to share that in the coming weeks, we will announce four successful recruitments. We have also dedicated significant effort to leadership development programs, enhancing personal and team dynamics within various organizations. These programs are designed to maximize potential and foster leadership qualities that align with organizational needs. On a personal note, this year has been immensely fulfilling. In May, I graduated with honors from SDA Bocconi with an Executive Master’s in Management of International Organizations. My capstone project, which explored the dynamic between 'Lovable Fools' and 'Competent Jerks' in international organizations, not only received top grades but also a recommendation to be turned into a book. I am thrilled to announce that thanks to a scholarship from the Danish Academy in Rome, this project will come to fruition in 2025. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support from our collaborators at International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), International Seabed Authority, EUROCONTROL, EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency and the Career development Roundtable (CDR).
