Thank you, International Committee of the Red Cross - ICRC! ⛑️ The Red Cross has been using our Beer Game simulation on multiple occasions since 2023. Their goal is to raise awareness and build skills across their entire supply chain. We’re proud to support their mission of helping communities worldwide, ensuring vital resources reach those who need them most in times of crisis. Thanks to Pieter Mulder and Emmanuelle Malaguti for trusting us to help build a stronger, more resilient humanitarian supply chain!

While hosting a game at the ASCM Conference in Austin 3 weeks ago, something really cool happened. One of the teams decided on their own initiative to rearrange the tables and chairs—typically static—to form a circle where players would face each other. This simple change facilitated direct communication between the supply chain partners such as retailer or manufacturer, allowing for more efficient collaboration. It’s no surprise that this team ultimately ranked no. 1 out of 30 teams and 120 players at the two-day event! They managed to generate only $194 in costs throughout the game, compared to an average of $600 for others! This experience beautifully illustrates the power of collective intelligence in action. The teammates will surely remember their strategies, the pitfalls they avoided, and the lessons learned. By turning the classical "lecture-style" training setups, into Active Learning experiences, we get many benefits: 👉 Engagement: Trainees actively participate in discussions, making learning more enjoyable. 👉 Understanding: Learners develop critical thinking skills and retain information more effectively. 👉 Collaboration: Teamwork fosters communication skills and allows trainees to learn from one another’s perspectives. 👉 Confidence: A supportive atmosphere encourages students to ask questions and express their thoughts freely. Congrats again to the Team 4 members: Dan Hetland, Zach Cotter, Tammy Cummings and Ian Neal! 🎉

Delivering an exceptional experience for both instructors and players has always been our top priority — it guides everything we do. That's why we constantly seek feedback from our users and work hard to integrate their suggestions. The Beer Game is a powerful tool for teaching systems and supply chain dynamics—but how it’s hosted can make all the difference. We were thrilled to receive this feedback from Michel Fender, one of France’s top experts in Supply Chain Management, who regularly incorporates our platform into his teaching: 👉 "Zensimu’s Beer Game is an excellent way to demonstrate the critical importance of aligning key functions and supply chain roles in executing a strategy based on clear trade-offs." 👉 "Beyond the theory, this hands-on approach helps uncover the real-world challenges of poor collaboration and data sharing across the supply chain—in a practical, engaging, and even fun way, which makes learning stick." We’re proud to support industry leaders like Michel in their mission to create impactful learning experiences! 🎯

Back in Europe after an incredible week at ASCM Connect North America 2024! I want to share my gratitude and satisfaction, like many other attendees 🙂. It was a pleasure representing Zensimu at this world-class supply chain event. At this edition, we: ✅ Hosted the Beer Game challenge with 120 participants in 30 teams, all eager to sharpen their supply chain skills. ✅ Engaged with dozens of professionals and educators at our booth, exploring how our online games can revolutionize supply chain and lean training. ✅ Enjoyed productive and memorable discussions during the BBQ night, after-work gatherings, and lunch events. A big thank you to the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) team for organizing such a fantastic event, and special shoutout to Peter Bolstorff for inviting us to take part in the gamer’s challenge. Looking forward to building on the great connections we made! New Feature: Zoom on Charts 📊 It was sometimes difficult to read some charts, because the scale could become very large to handle big and small numbers. You can now click on a Magnifying Glass icon next to most charts to open them in full screen. You'll be able to adjust the zoom to your needs, and even copy the chart as an image to be pasted into any presentation, email, etc. We hope you'll enjoy using this improvement!
