Vote for your favourite: the Youth4Regions Photo Competition 2024
- 01 October 2024
The finalists for this year's photo competition are four talented young journalists from across Europe: Alice Ugolini from Italy, Magna Araújo Amorim from Portugal, Markéta Kršková from Czechia, and Shabnam Duzenji from Turkiye. Each of these finalists has submitted stunning photos that reflect their unique perspectives and storytelling abilities about EU co-funded projects.
But that’s not all—your vote counts for more than just choosing a winner. The winner of the public vote will join the two winners of the Megalizzi – Niedzielski Prize, and all three will receive a special scholarship. This scholarship will allow them to travel across three EU Member States by train, documenting their journey and reporting on EU-funded projects. This is a remarkable opportunity for these young journalists to grow, explore, and share stories that connect us all.
This photo competition is part of the Youth4Regions programme, an initiative by the European Commission designed to help journalism students and young professionals discover what the EU is doing in their region. Each year, hundreds of young people apply from the EU, neighbouring, and accession countries to participate, making this a truly prestigious competition.
So, why wait? Head over and cast your vote now and support these talented young journalists. Your vote can change a life and help shine a spotlight on the incredible work being done across Europe!
