    On Christmas Day, LeBron James made history, as the los Angeles Lakers won the 115-113 victory over the Golden State Warriors. Not only did winning guarantee the Lakers' win this evening, it lifted Jim to the all-time leader for Christmas Day wins in the NBA with 11 wins in 19 tries.

    LeBron James Leads Lakers Without Davis

    James, who finished the game with 31 points, led the Lakers despite the loss of star player Anthony Davis to an ankle injury early in the game. Davis was forced to leave the game after twisting his left ankle just eight minutes into play, putting extra pressure on the remaining Lakers players. Nevertheless, James rose to the challenge, and the squad fought back as one, to stop the Warriors.

    "It's always difficult to play without AD," James said after the game. "We have to do a little bit more. Everybody has to contribute, especially at the defense end.

    The game came down to a thrilling final moment. With just one second left on the clock, Austin Reaves scored a game-winning lay-up, giving the Lakers a hard-earned victory. Reaves ended the game a complete performance with 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

      Stephen Curry put on a show for the Warriors, racking up game-high 38 points, with a total of eight three-pointers. His late-game heroics helped Golden State rally from a 109-100 deficit, tying the game with two clutch three-pointers in the final seconds. But despite Curry's efforts, the Warriors fell short.

      Elsewhere in the league, rookie Victor Wembanyama had a stellar Christmas Day debut for the San Antonio Spurs. He ended up with a line of 42 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 blocks, but the Spurs fell by 117-114 to the New York Knicks. Mikal Bridges led the Knicks with a season-high 41 points, the second-most points by a Knicks player on Christmas Day, behind Bernard King's 60-point performance in 1984.
