Thank God It’s Friday! Here’s what it taught me about investing: 1. 🎯 Be Selective, Like Friday Night Plans: Not every stock deserves your attention—just like you wouldn’t agree to every random Friday night invite. Swipe left on bad investments, swipe right on the winners. You wouldn’t waste a Friday on a lame party, so don’t waste your money on bad stocks. 2. 🛍️ FOMO is a Scam: That “must-go” party everyone’s hyping up? Overrated. FOMO investing works the same way. Skip the hype, skip the regret. Don’t jump into something just because it’s trendy—it’s always better to wait for the right opportunity. 3. 🍕 Pizza Before the Party: Before a big night out, you eat something solid, right? The same goes for investing—build a strong foundation first. Without a plan (or a slice in your stomach), you’ll crash before the fun even starts. 4. 🧭 Stick to the Plan: Changing your Friday plans at the last minute? Rookie move. It’s the same with investments. Stick to your strategy and don’t get swayed by the latest stock everyone’s raving about. 5. 💔 Bad Dates = Bad Stocks: We’ve all been there—10 minutes into a date and you know it’s a disaster. It’s the same feeling with a bad investment. Don’t let the sunk cost fallacy keep you trapped. Cut ties and walk away before you waste more time (or money). 6. 🍷 Wine Ages Well—So Should Your Portfolio: Just like a bottle of wine gets better with time, your investments need time to mature. Don’t cash out too soon. Let them age, and when the time’s right, you’ll enjoy the rewards. 7. 📵 Put Your Phone Down, Seriously: We all have that one friend who’s glued to their phone during a night out. Annoying, right? Don’t be that person with your investments. Stop checking your portfolio every five minutes. Let it breathe and enjoy your night (and your life). 8. 💡 Drunk Ideas, Sober Regrets: That genius idea you had after a few drinks? Probably not so genius in the morning. Impulsive investing is the same. Just because it sounds brilliant in the moment doesn’t mean it’s a good move long-term. 9. 🛋️ Sometimes, Do Nothing: Some of the best Fridays are the ones where you do absolutely nothing. The same goes for your portfolio—sometimes, the smartest move is to leave it alone and let it work for you.
