SUPERANGEL WRAPPED 2024 As 2024 comes to a close, here's a glimpse of what we’ve been up to this year. 🚀 6 investments in companies building bold technology with tangible impact - OTee, Gelatex, Askel.ai, Pactum AI, Nanordica Medical , TBA 🤫 🎉 SEB pension funds joined as a key investor in our second fund, enabling us to continue backing early-stage startups driving innovation and positive change 👩💻 We organised Base Camp - a 48-hour hackathon for founders - in Stockholm for the very first time 👫 We hosted several community events including Latitude Drinks with Creandum & Inventure, Investors & Founders Running Club at Techarenan, Founder Breakfast with FIRSTPICK and several workshops on topics like “Preparations for VC investments,” “Financial planning for early-stage companies,” and “Mastering term sheet negotiations as an early-stage startup” 🌟 We welcomed Maria Kuris as an intern during the summer, adding energy and fresh perspectives to the team 💥 Our portfolio raised an impressive €143m across 7 funding rounds - what an achievement! We're thrilled to partner with Joosep Kõljalg, Tim Jaanson and Kristofer Kurvits and lead the 380,000€ pre-seed round of Askel.ai 🙌🏼 Inefficient processes hinder the ability to scale growth and innovation. The current automation tools require a level of technical knowhow, limiting the ability for wide-scale streamlining of company operations. 💡 To change that, Askel offers a platform that enables SaaS companies to embed automation directly into their products without writing any code. They empower non-technical end-users to automate repetitive tasks by describing desired outcomes in natural and simple language. The platform’s pilot customers report significant benefits, reducing the time spent on task completion up to 10 times. The round was joined by reputable angels, including ProcessOut co-founder Manuel Huez, Matrix partner Patrick Malatack, Veriff co-founder Janer Gorohhov, and Ott Kaukver former CTO of Checkout.com and Twilio, and tech executive of Skype. Today we're excited to announce our investment to Pactum AI in their recent $20M Series B 🤩 Pactum’s autonomous bots can contact thousands of suppliers simultaneously seeking the best pricing and terms for routine corporate purchases in logistics and a wide range of other sectors. Launched in 2019, Pactum’s software is negotiating deals in 10 languages for dozens of Fortune 500-sized customers, such as Walmart, Vodafone and Veritiv. The largest autonomously signed deal so far was a $28 million purchase that generated savings of $750,000 🤝 Our story with the Pactum's founding team goes way back when Martin Rand, Kaspar Korjus and Kristjan Korjus first started building Pactum at our coworking space Palo Alto Club.
