Rally Accelerate Tour X CISMEF 2024 was a blast! Rally Accelerate startups had the chance to showcase portfolio companies on a global stage at the China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) in Guangzhou as a part of our the China Business Tour program. The CISMEF is the largest SME fair held in the Asian-Pacific Region with 5000 standard booths and attracts around 200,000 visitors each year. This fair is to promote interactions between Chinese enterprises and foreign SMEs, and it also serves as an important bridge for SMEs from around the world to enter to the Chinese market. It’s been an incredibly meaningful journey. It all started with discovering AAST AAST Entrepreneurship Center Sohaila El-Sewerkey Heba Al-Ashry Wael Eldesouki Bedda online, meeting virtually, and then traveling to Egypt to join the Ripple Summit 2024 as a speaker. After returning to Asia, I had the privilege of inviting AAST to China for CISMEF. From Guangzhou, we traveled together to Beijing, where we visited the GITP GITP Asia China headquarters and held an MOU signing ceremony. What began as a business collaboration with Moustafa and Mohamed has turned into a friendship. We’re delighted to have supported their efforts to establish their business in China. Thank you Moustafa, he has even connected me to the Africa Tech Summit 2025 Africa Tech Summit , extending our partnership further. Though this journey has been long and at times exhausting, it has been great rewarding. I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the Chinese government agencies & our partners for their unwavering support. Launching the Third Batch of the Ready for Tomorrow Program: Cairo and Alexandria Edition. We're excited to kick off a three-day bootcamp for over 200 passionate young entrepreneurs from Cairo and Alexandria, taking place from November 20-22. This initiative, part of our partnership with Plan International , is designed to equip young entrepreneurs with essential techniques and strategies for launching their own startups. Driving for excellence in Startup Globalization. THE AAST ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER HAS BEEN SELECTED TO JOIN THE LAUNCH OF BRICS STI INCUBATION NETWORK that took place on14 to 16 November 2024 in Xiamen China.   This prestigious network, launched by the Beijing International Exchange Association (BIEA) and BRICS countries, aims to foster innovation and collaboration among member nations. Our Founding Director, Dr. Wael ElDesouki, had the opportunity to share AASTEC’s innovative entrepreneurial programs with global innovators, inspiring startups and highlighting the success of our portfolio companies in securing funding and expanding internationally. This three-day event featured a series of on-site visits, policy discussions, exemplary case study sharing, capacity-building dialogues, and a field trip to further identify the collaboration among member countries in STI entrepreneurship. This initiative aims to unite and stimulate innovative collaboration between BRICS member countries, and it is supported by efforts from BIEA, Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology and Xiamen University, and therefore through talent cultivation, financial support provisions, and the creation of a comprehensive scientific and technological innovation incubation service system, This opportunity allows Aastec to explore opportunities and challenges experienced by start-up companies, find solutions and strategies for Egyptian start-ups; as it aims to foster knowledge sharing, discuss innovative strategies for transforming the innovation agenda fostering entrepreneurship. #aast_entrepreneurship_center #Aastec #globalization
