Agro Green Secures License to Establish New Factory for Agricultural Produce Packing in Two Days Agro Green, an agricultural produce export company, obtained a license to establish a new packing factory within two days from the Industrial Development Authority last week. ibrahim elsedawy, stated that the factory for packing and sorting agricultural produce is currently being established in the industrial zone in Gamasa, covering an area of 11,000 square meters. ElSedawi confirmed that the company received the license in a record time, thanks to the directives of Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Industry, who always prioritizes the interests of investors and expedites their procedures, including the swift issuance of licenses to investors to boost industrial development in Egypt. ElSedawi expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Industry for promptly meeting Agro Green's requests for the new factory license to begin operations. He highlighted that the company aims to export 30,000 tons of sweet potatoes to the European market this year. Ayman ElShewy, added that the Industrial Development Authority played a crucial role in issuing the new factory license, thanks to the support of the Authority’s Chairwoman, Dr. Nihad Youssef, who insisted on expediting the procedures. Meanwhile, Ahmed Abdel Rahman, The Managing Director of Agro Green, confirmed that the company is working on exporting sweet potatoes and butternut squash to 15 European countries and the United Kingdom, with the goal of bringing foreign currency into the country. He pointed out that Agro Green is the largest exporters of sweet potatoes to Europe and the UK. Adel Ellithy, stated that this step will strengthen the company’s position in the European market by increasing the quantity of Egyptian agricultural produce to Europe, in addition to boosting job opportunities within the company across all its branches.
