Alexandria Business Association is an independent not for profit organization that represents the business community in Alexandria since 1983 Alexandria Business Association was established as an NGO at the Directorate of Social Solidarity in Alexandria under authorization no. 952 of 1988. On 5/12/2018 its registration was then transferred and affiliated to the Central Administration of Associations and Unions under no. 865 We see ourselves as the reliable partner for Egyptian and international companies working in the Alexandria. We are committed to our mission of serving our 300 plus members, supporting business in general and to developing Alexandria socially and economically. ABA is also constantly exploring new markets, seeking networking opportunities between its members’ companies and potential business partners in the global markets

In the presence of Haitham Elkayar, Secretary General of the ABA, ABA Members & representatives of the business sector in Alexandria, ✨ to promote cooperation between the two countries in the #economic and #commercial fields.   Hanno, stressed the need to organize bilateral meetings between the business communities in #Egypt and #Greece, noting that the Association Agreement between Egypt and the European Union provides wide opportunities for trade exchange and enhances the flow of investments between the two countries.   He explained the commercial and economic advantages of Alexandria as a platform for various industries, and Information technology. He also pointed to the development of the tourism sector in #Alexandria through the development of historical sites.   Evangelos Dairetzis, expressed his pleasure to work again in Egypt, praising the role and achievements of the ABA, noting the civilization links between the two countries and the new elements in Alexandrian tourism. He suggested using ABA's expertise in promoting joint Egyptian Greek tourism programs, as well as exploring the possibility of cooperation between ABA and Greek business organizations, calling on ABA to provide him with proposals to enhance cooperation in the field of #investment and #trade.   • The Alexandria Business Association, headed by Mr. Mohamed Hanno, ABA Chairman, received Ambassador Naela Gabr, head of The National Coordinating Committee for Combating and Preventing Illegal Migration and Trafficking. in the presence of board members, Dr. Mohamed Ghatwary, and M. Mohamed Arafa, to discuss ways to cooperate on a number of issues, including reducing illegal migration and finding alternative opportunities for Egyptian workers.   • ABA discusses vocational training and employment with the Korean Ambassador at the "VTEC "Center Alexandria Business Association (ABA) received at its Vocational Training and Employment Center (VTEC), headed by @Mohamed Hanno, ABA Chairman, Ambassador Kim Yonghyon, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Egypt, Mr. AHN Chang Kyun, Second Secretary, Ms. Hayam Hassan, Researcher at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Ms. Jinyoung Kim, Country director of KOICA, Ms. Inae Shin, Country Program Manager of KOICA. In the presence of Sherine Mikhail, representative of the World Food Program (WFP), to discuss ways to cooperate with the Center in the 12 workshops. During his tour with the Korean Ambassador, Mr. Mohamed Hanno, ABA Chairman, reviewed the trainings and activities of the VTEC Vocational Training and Employment Center, by visiting several workshops. His commitment to fostering collaboration and understanding has not only strengthened ties but has also created a foundation for future partnerships. His collaboration with the Alexandria Business Association have led to the establishment of two workshops at ABA's Vocational Training and Employment Center and providing Kaizen training to our staff. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors and look forward to continuing the legacy of partnership he has established. It featured economist Professor Jeffrey Sachs, who discussed Africa's potential to overcome poverty through investments, particularly in education.
