He has held key leadership roles since 1991 including serving as the Director General of Investment at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) and is currently the Chief Global Sovereign Funds Advisor at Ninety One Asset Management and Chairman of Ninety One Capital in Saudi Arabia. Dr. AlSweilem has a PhD from the University of Colorado and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship from Harvard University, he has also served as a fellow expert at Harvard Kennedy School.
