It has severe consequences for human health and the environment, contributing to air pollution, global warming, and climate change. The dangers include: Release of Toxic Substances ☠️: Burning plastic releases harmful chemicals like dioxins, furans, and PCBs, which are linked to serious health issues such as cancer, respiratory disorders, reproductive problems, and nervous system damage. Fine Particulate Matter: The process also produces fine particles (PM2.5 and PM10) that penetrate deep into the lungs, causing chronic inflammation and leading to severe cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. Air Pollution: Large quantities of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and other pollutants are emitted, further degrading air quality. Soil and Water Contamination: The ash left behind often contains toxic substances that can leach into the soil and water, posing a significant threat to plants, animals, and ecosystems.
