What if one day could make a difference—for nature and for you? ↳ That’s exactly what happened last Saturday with our colivers in Tenerife. Here’s how it went: 🌱 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 ↳ Joined @Rotary NGO to plant trees and give back to the land. ↳ Hands in the soil, hearts full of hope. ↳ Every tree planted felt like a small step toward a greener future. 🥾 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 ↳ A breathtaking 4-hour hike through Vilaflor’s otherworldly terrain ↳ Stunning views, great conversations, and so much laughter ↳ The perfect way to connect with nature and each other It was a day of action, connection, and memories. This past weekend, we once again experienced the magic of the #ConnectedRurality 🙌🏼 This time around, we’re doing it from the island of #LaGomera, putting together the Pop Up Coliving La Gomera, with plenty of activities aimed at connecting with this beautiful place 🌱 1️⃣ On Saturday, we arrived on the island and following our traditions, we had our ‘Welcoming Session,’ where we all introduced ourselves, defined the #Skillshares we want to offer to the group, and set the ‘house rules’ (not to mention enjoying a delicious local dinner). 2️⃣ Sunday was dedicated to ‘Discover La Gomera,’ an activity that included: 🥾 A hike through Garajonay National Park, exploring some of its hidden gems with Meike as our guide. 🏺 A visit to the one of the few ceramists left at ‘Las Loceras’ in the village of El Cercado. 🥗 We enjoyed a traditional lunch at Casa Efigenia, with a small demonstration of the ‘Silbo Gomero’ and a taste of its typical gastronomy, with over 60 years of tradition. 😶🌫️ We ended the day with another short hike through the Laurel forest to the ‘La Niebla’ viewpoint.
