Sobre nosotros
Carbon Cause is a venture initiative that was launched by Nexwell in 2020. The company is in the business of developing mass underground storage for CO₂ to reduce and displace greenhouse gases from the atmosphere into the ground. The Company’s first commercial scale initiative is its Green Pulse project, which is an onshore carbon capture and storage project in Southern Spain. By developing and implementing Green Pulse, Carboncause will be the first large scale onshore saline aquifer storage initiative in continental Europe, demonstrating the viability for safe and sustainable onshore carbon storage projects.

Congratulations to Eirik Silva and the entire CCUS Zen team for orchestrating a successful forum in Madrid, Spain. A heartfelt thank you for inviting us to share our insights on the panel "How to make CCUS fly in Spain". As mentioned in our panel, creative collaboration across different players in the value chain is crucial for success. Equally important is the role of government in driving policy and providing incentives for CO2 storage projects. It is essential that these efforts are prioritized at least as highly as the development of use cases for captured carbon. Government leadership in policy-making and incentive structures is critical to catalyze the industry and encourage comprehensive adoption of CCUS technologies. The time to act is now. We must collectively push for a regulatory environment that not only promotes but also rewards the implementation of sustainable practices. Let's seize the momentum generated by the CCUS Zen forum to accelerate our journey towards a low-carbon future. #CCUS #Sustainability #CO2Storage #Collaboration #GovernmentPolicy #CarbonManagement #CCUSZEN

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Miguel Angel Hernando García from Tecnicas Reunidas for highlighting our Green Pulse project as the sole active on-shore CCS initiative in Spain. As Miguel pointed out, Carboncause holds the only active permit and project for CCS in Spain, and he urged for rapid development of infrastructure to further develop a CO2 transportation network. We wholheartedly agree with this vision and are diligently working to add to our geological storage inventory, and working with indsutries across the value chain to get to where we need to be. #CCUSZEN #Carboncause #GreenPulse #Sustainability #EnvironmentalCommitment #KnowledgeSharing #Collaboration #CCUSCommunity
