Disinformation and misinformation are considered by the EU institutions as a threat to modern democracies, that's among the reasons we decided to join the global debate on the issue. Sebastian Becker Castellaro from International IDEA, Klimentini Diakomanoli from the European Commission, Kayleen Devlin at BBC Verify and Gabriel Lopez Serrano from Microsoft Ibérica are some of the participants of the event we organised last October 8 with Delegation of the Government of Catalonia to the United States and Canada to adress this issue. We are the largest and most pluralistic consortium in Catalonia, with 38 members, and, as this video shows, our origin dates back to 1982. Now we evolve to adapt our international and European will to the new times, in order to continue connecting, projecting and empowering Catalonia in the international arena.
