On November 30, COMANAGE project was presented to support the creation of a Renewable Energy Community in Fonte Nuova. 🌱 Giorgio Scavino, representing COMANAGE, introduced an innovative plan funded by the LIFE Programme, aiming to overcome governance barriers for CERs with legal tools and an e-learning platform. Gabriele Umberto Magni shared the progress of the Ventotene energy community, highlighting the importance of a sustainable economic model and the increasing involvement of young people to strengthen social ties within the CER. 🌱 COMANAGE Project at the Conference on Renewable and Solidarity Energy Communities in Fonte Nuova 🌿 ANCI Lazio is pleased to announce the presentation of the COMANAGE Project at the event "Renewable and Solidarity Energy Communities in Fonte Nuova," taking place on November 30 at 10:00 AM at the Multifunctional Hall of the Municipal Library "Salvatore G. Vicario" (Via Machiavelli 1, Fonte Nuova)[in Italian language]. The presentation, focusing on the tools supporting RECs developed and currently under further development by the COMANAGE partnership (co-funded by the European LIFE program), will be delivered remotely by Giorgio Scavino, consultant for ANCI Lazio within the COMANAGE project. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of leading the session "Making Energy Communities Successful in Metropolitan Areas" at the Smart City Expo World Congress. A big thank you to our incredible partners, Camila Canelas Navarro and Federica Giardina from Ecoserveis Cultura Energètica, Marcel Camps Ingles from Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB), and Daniel Pelufo from Metropolis, World Association of the Major Metropolises for hosting this engaging session.
