Della Gherardesca restore the memory of the past to be faithful to their roots. That is the value of authenticity. Brand activation design for UPM - The Biofore Company during the annual PENTAWARDS gala. An approach to Packaging designers in a fun but at the same time very relevant language and with which the purpose of the brand is reflected and integrated with the festive atmosphere of the gala. A unique photocall full of meaning and emotion.

When UPM - The Biofore Company gave us the opportunity to design an activation for them at the PENTAWARDS gala, it seemed like the ideal audience and environment to create a playful, bold and very photographable space. A way of linking the brand to the celebration and the profession of packaging designers. A process that we have enjoyed enormously. Thanks to all UPM team members for their trust and enthusiasm. Last week I had the pleasure to join the epda (european brand & packaging design association) conference in Warsaw, Poland as a MABA speaker It was inspiring to meet other members of the design community and share time and experiences together. It was also a pleasant surprise to discover Warsaw, a beautiful and lively city. Thanks to Claudia Josephs and Uwe Melichar for captaining this meeting. I was so proud to share the stage with inspiring people such as Adam Ryan, who is always a pleasure to listen, Mateusz Machalski and his personal vision of typography, Mat Lyon & Benny Lyon and their kind approach to the concepts of creativity and marketing, and Hernán Braberman and his emotional presentation and experience. It was also a pleasure to share time with Lisbeth Saarinen and Stefano Pistoni from UPM Raflatac, as an inseparable partner of beauty and sustainability in our profession. Looking forward to discover the next day together!
