  • 🔋 Terang BESS: Leading the energy transition in Victoria. 💪 With Terang (Victoria, Australia) we are marking a new chapter in our history: the construction of a battery energy storage system (BESS), with a capacity of 100MW/200MWh. This is our first major storage project in the country, a crucial step in our mission to drive the future of renewable energy. ♻️ It will connect to the national power grid, helping to meet the 50% renewable energy target for 2030 set by the state government and generating a major local and global impact. During construction, it will generate 150 jobs in the area and promote economic growth by collaborating with businesses in the region. Terang goes beyond simply being a project, it is a showcase of the transformative impact renewable energy can have on our communities and the planet. 👩💻 Learn more about this project here: https://loom.ly/zVx13Fg #FRVProjects #FRVAustralia #BESS

  • Clay Tye: A giant step towards sustainable energy transition The launch of Clay Tye marks a milestone in Europe as one of the largest battery energy storage systems (BESS) by capacity. It reinforces the UK's commitment to decarbonization and energy security. 📍 Located in Essex, it has a capacity of 99 MW/198 MWh, enough to power 300,000 homes for two hours. With 52 Tesla Megapack batteries and the Autobidder software platform, it ensures innovative and efficient energy management. ✨ Following the success of other projects such as Contego (34 MW/68 MWh) and Holes Bay (7.5 MW/15 MWh), it not only stabilizes the power grid, but also advances the transition to renewables. Clay Tye strengthens FRV's presence in a key market such as the United Kingdom. With initiatives like this, we continue to lead the change towards a sustainable energy future, demonstrating that innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand. Renewable hydrogen strategy, regulation and markets

🌍🎤 Last week, I had the honor to participate as a speaker in the Monaco Hydrogen Forum, representing Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) and Abdul Latif Jameel. There, we discussed the future of hydrogen-powered mobility with representatives of relevant players in the sector. Here are some key insights I gathered:   ⚖️ We need regulations and policies for #greenhydrogen and derivatives that effectively support #cleanmobility. With more regulatory support, the deployment of HRSs will happen faster, and investments in this sector will be de-risked, enabling the participation of hydrogen vehicles in the market.   📍 It is essential to focus on areas and applications where #H2mobility truly makes sense, such as large cities with highly concentrated populations in the center and corporate vehicle fleets. These fleets can decarbonize while maintaining their high number of operating hours.   🤝 For H2 mobility to succeed, #alliances and teamwork across the entire H2 value chain are vital: producers, refueling infrastructure, vehicle manufacturers, and end-users must collaborate to create successful projects with economies of scale. 〰️We still have #challenges to overcome, such as improving the efficiency of hydrogen production processes, streamlining permitting procedures, and advancing vehicle technology.   I was fortunate to share perspectives in the "Multi-Purpose Hydrogen Mobility Hubs" panel alongside great minds in this industry: Hechem Nadjar (Enhywhere), Stephan Herbst (Toyota Motor Corporation), Olivier Dhez (Hydrogen Refueling Solutions), and Faouzi ANNAJAH (NamX). A special thanks to Jorgo Chatzimarkakis for their insightful questions and contributions during the panel.   Special thanks to the Monaco Hydrogen Alliance for organizing such an important and interesting event! 🌱

  • 🌞 How does a solar photovoltaic plant work? In the following video, we tell you about the process that converts sunlight into clean, sustainable energy. Through photovoltaic technology, solar plants capture the sun's energy, transform it into electricity and distribute it for use, helping to reduce our carbon footprint and protect the planet. This is how the system that makes an energy transition to a renewable future possible works. 🎥 Hit PLAY and join us on this journey towards sustainability! 🌍 #RenewableEnergy #SolarEnergy #Sustainability #FRV

  • 🌞 Dalby: Innovation and sustainability in Australia's energy transition. At FRV Australia, we are transforming the future of energy with our first hybrid project in Dalby. Located in Queensland, this revolutionary installation combines a 2.45 MWdc solar PV system with 2.54 MW/5MWh battery energy storage (BESS), connected to the same point on the national grid. 🌍 Sustainable impact: It is much more than a technological innovation, it is an example of how hybrid solutions improve energy efficiency and grid resilience. Each year, it generates enough electricity to power more than 1,680 homes, avoiding the emission of 3,553 tons of CO2. This is equivalent to removing hundreds of vehicles from the road. 👷♀️ Commitment to the community: It not only boosts sustainability, but also the local economy. During its construction and operation, it has created jobs and collaborated with local businesses, strengthening the region's business fabric. 💡 Building the energy future: With an estimated useful life of 30 years, it reinforces our commitment to clean energy and economic diversification. It is a decisive step towards a more sustainable energy system, reaffirming FRV as a leader in Australia's energy transition. Dalby is not just a project, it is a reflection of a cleaner, more efficient future. All the info on our website: https://loom.ly/kTGt9Mg

  • 🔋 The importance of energy storage 🔋 #EnergyStorage is key to maximizing the use of renewable energy. While the sun doesn't always shine and the wind doesn't always blow, technologies like batteries and advanced storage systems allow us to save clean energy for when it's most needed. At #FRV, we are investing in innovative storage solutions that ensure a constant supply of renewable energy, improving efficiency and securing a more sustainable future. 📷 Contego (West Sussex, UK) #EnergyInnovation #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability

  • 🌍 Innovation and sustainability in the Arctic: this is our project in Simo, Finland. 📍 In the Lapland region near the Arctic Circle and the Baltic Sea, we are implementing a key project for Finland's energy future: the construction of a large-scale energy storage system (BESS) in Simo. This innovative project, developed in collaboration with AMP Tank Finland Oy, marks a milestone in the Nordic countries' energy transition. Outstanding features: 🔸 Initial capacity: 60 MWh with 26 Sungrow PowerTitan batteries based on advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cell technology. 🔸 Strategic location: Close to the Fingrid Simojoki substation, reinforcing grid stability. 🔸 Expansion potential: A second phase under discussion could increase capacity to 200 MWh, tripling its impact. 🔸 Efficient surface area: Only 0.4 hectares, maximizing land use. 🔸 Start of operation: First quarter of 2025. With this project, we consolidate our position as a global leader in sustainable energy storage solutions, expanding our presence to an area with ample future potential. This BESS will not only stabilize the grid in the face of renewable growth, but will also contribute to Finland's goal of being carbon neutral by 2035, becoming a benchmark of how international collaboration drives innovative solutions in challenging environments.
