🔭 As part of their inquiry into "How Galileo's inventions transformed our understanding of the universe," PY6 students have been researching constellations and the science behind the telescope. 🌠 To demonstrate their understanding, they each built a telescope using everyday materials found at home. They then presented their models to their peers, sharing facts about Galileo and space exploration. 🌌 This hands-on project is the perfect bridging activity, helping PY6 students develop key skills like research, creativity, and presentation that will be crucial for their transition to secondary school. --- 🔭 Dans le cadre de leur enquête sur "Comment les inventions de Galilée ont transformé notre compréhension de l'univers", les élèves de PY6 ont étudié les constellations et la science derrière le télescope. 🌠 Pour démontrer leur compréhension, chacun a construit un télescope en utilisant des matériaux courants trouvés à la maison. Ils ont ensuite présenté leurs modèles à leurs camarades, partageant des faits sur Galilée et l'exploration spatiale. 🌌 Ce projet pratique est l'activité idéale pour faire le lien, en aidant les élèves de PY6 à développer des compétences clés telles que la recherche, la créativité et la présentation, qui seront cruciales pour leur transition vers le collège.
