Today is the day!📌 The Second Joint Annual Forum of the #SustainableTourism Mission on “Climate Adaptation in Tourism – Building Capacity and Policy Integration” will take place today as part of the Sun&Blue Congress, the premier annual gathering on Tourism and Blue Economy in Europe. Focus on inspiring action and fostering adaptation strategies to combat the impacts of #ClimateChange on the Mediterranean tourism ecosystem. Highlights of the Event: 🔹A Capacity Building session for regional tourism departments and DMOs from the Mediterranean and beyond, providing clear and adaptable guidance on developing climate action plans. 🔹A Policy Debate addressing “Adapting and Mitigating Climate Change in Tourism: Strategies & Policies,” featuring diverse stakeholders from regional tourism networks, environmental organizations, and advocates for sustainable development in the #BlueEconomy. 🔹Additionally a session organized by the #WestMED initiative will take place from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, aimed at strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of the coastal and maritime tourism sector.
