About Bioeconomy Business Market - Cuenca 2024 On the 27 and 28 November, our CEO, Thais Maria Glod Nuñez, was part of the celebration of the Bioeconomy Business Market 2024, held at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha in Cuenca. About InsurTech Iberoamerican Forum Our CEO Thais Maria Glod Nuñez had the honor of participating in the Fisrt InsurTech Iberamerican Forum, a platform dedicated to discussing the four major challenges currently facing the insurance sector. The event brought together prominent stakeholders from Europe and the Americas, fostering meaningful dialogue between the traditional industry and new players, including the innovative projects selected as the TOP25 Latam InsurTech 2024. The forum also offered opportunities to co-create solutions through contributions from traditional companies and emerging players, attracting interest from corporate investors, venture capitalists, business angels, and family offices. Special recognition goes to MARTIN NAVAZ (ADECOSE) as Honorary President and JOSE Mª FERNANDEZ-PEDRERA CIRERA (Santalucía) as Executive President of the Foro Iberoamérica InsurTech. This initiative, launched in 2020 by MadFinTech (Clúster Madrid Capital Fintech) (Spain) and AFIP - FinTech and InsurTech Portugal, continues to grow, expanding its scope from Iberia to Ibero-America. Monthly leasing of the expensive tech, 2,000 photocopies for free/month, pay micro-amounts for any additional copy. 2) Martha Matilda Harper's franchised hair salons: Harper was the inventor of modern retail franchising who built an international network of 500 franchised hair salons in 1891. 3) Apple iPod: Locking customers in with 1,000 songs in a pocket. Exploring collaboration opportunities with the University of Helsinki! Last week, our CEO Thais Maria Glod Nuñez had a productive meeting with representatives from the University of Helsinki and Business Helsinki to dive deeper into potential pathways for building strong partnerships. The University of Helsinki showcased how it fosters collaboration with diverse organizations, including corporations, innovative SMEs, and other partners. Their commitment to being “a partner for companies whose goal is to create solutions for the world” deeply resonates with our mission. We’re currently exploring collaboration opportunities that align with our innovation labs’ specific challenges, leveraging the university’s research expertise and cooperation frameworks. Additionally, we’re keen to work with Helsinki Incubators to support our Rural ClimAccelerator entrepreneurship initiatives and build a robust ecosystem for startups, including assistance with PoC (Proof of Concept) and MVP (Minimum Viable Product) development.
