Wrapping up the year with the best news we could think of 🔥 After months of hard work, we’re excited to share that we have been awarded €335k through Spain’s most prestigious R&D grant, NEOTEC 👩🔬 For the second time this year, our R&D and technology advancements are being recognized, allowing us to fast-track the number, time, and costs of our experiments to optimize our future fungi-based food applications. 🔬 Combining rapid imaging robotics and machine learning, we are reshaping the landscape for faster, more cost-effective discovery and optimization processes in fungi-based applications. 🚀 By leveraging our high-throughput screening technology, we're increasing experiments by 96X and reducing experiment time by 9X. The result? An 800X increase in research and development efficiency. 🍄 Lots of data, yes. But at Libre, we are still focusing on our industry’s biggest gap: price, experience, and nutrition. And we are committed to develope a low-cost and highly nutritional mycelium that will reshape our food system.
