Nagami is a technology-driven design brand which emerged to redefine the concept of design, production, and consumption through robotic 3D printing. Founded in Ávila (Spain) in 2016 by Manuel Jiménez García, Miguel Ángel Jiménez García and Ignacio Viguera Ochoa, Nagami develops design methods and technologies that allow for the creation of unprecedented geometries with a wide range of customization possibilities. More importantly, we aim to establish new and more sustainable production cycles based on a circular economy, allowing the transformation of plastic waste into furniture, sculptures, interiors and medium-scale architectures. Research and innovation are at the core of our products, developed in collaboration with internationally renowned designers, who can challenge our technology to create groundbreaking objects. We craft every detail, from the early conception to the software that allows previously inconceivable forms to come to life, exploring new ways of creating objects and environments which push the limits of imagination to unseen territories while letting us envision a more sustainable future. Nagami’s work is part of the permanent collection of the Centre Pompidou and has been exhibited worldwide in venues such as Victoria & Albert Museum (London) The Design Museum (London), Zaha Hadid Design Gallery (London), Philadelphia Museum of Art, Milan Design Week and Madrid Design Festival.
