However, high system costs, as well as challenges in performance and reliability, continue to hinder the widespread adoption of electrification. 💡 NX Technologies is working with several key marine industry players introducing some novel functions that are helping cross this barriers: • 𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: NX inverters have the capability to perform smooth speed control. This function is fundamental to make electric boats driveability easy, safe and swift. • 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: Many motor manufacturers for marine application avoid sensors for reliability. Over the past three years, we have been part of the #DHub #Consortium, advancing next-generation electric mobility technology as part of the #PERTE for the Connected Electric Vehicle (PERTE-VEC). This initiative has been made possible through funding from the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, through Strategic Projects for the Recovery and Economic Transformation in the Connected Electric Vehicle Sector (PERTE-VEC), and by the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Mechanism. Our role in this #RnD Consortium focused on developing an advanced #MotorController capable of operating seamlessly with both #IGBT and #SiC semiconductors, delivering exceptional power density and efficiency. Closing on 2024 Trade Fair season with #EICMA in Milan and #METS in Amsterdam. Fairs are always the perfect opportunity to benchmark the latest products hitting the market and validate commercial strategies. Last week, we supported Ceit Research Center to provide training on #DeveLinkSTUDIO, our intuitive, real-time interface for inverter calibration. ⚙️💡 CEIT, a leading electric motor research center in Spain, has integrated several of our NX #MotorControllers into their test benches and is using our proprietary DeveLinkSTUDIO software for seamless operation. Our team has been working on setting up the system and training the CEIT team on the complete NX toolset, making testing faster and improving data capture. This set up will provide CEIT state of the art premises to help motor manufacturers in developing next-generation electric motor solutions.
