Looking at it now, it's remarkable how accurately these predictions align with current trends. Key insights: ✅ Repurposing EV batteries is significantly more cost-effective than refurbishing, making it the preferred option for extending battery life. ✅ By 2030, the predicted costs for energy storage technology are: $80/kWh for 1st life batteries (1LB) $53/kWh for repurposing EV batteries (2LB Direct Reuse) $77/kWh for refurbishing EV batteries (2LB Reworked) With costs for 2nd life batteries 30–70% lower than new batteries, this technology offers a sustainable and economical solution for growing energy storage demands. However, the challenge lies in overcoming technical barriers, standardization issues, and ensuring the economic feasibility of large-scale adoption. The forecast highlighted the critical role of collaboration across industries and stakeholders to unlock the full potential of second-life batteries. (***Información actualizada con los puntos reales de Iberdrola BP Pulse, Barter y Galp)👇 👉 Según ANFAC y AEDIVE (ASOCIACIÓN EMPRESARIAL PARA EL DESARROLLO E IMPULSO DE LA MOVILIDAD ELÉCTRICA) hay 37.000 puntos de recarga hasta octubre de 2024. 👉 Son unos 5.000 puntos más que a principios de año. Esto significa que en este 2024 se instalarán aproximadamente unos 10.000 o 12.000 puntos más que en 2023. 👉 La proporción entre puntos de recarga y coches eléctricos no varía. Hay aproximadamente 1 punto de recarga por cada 5 coches eléctricos, por lo que deberíamos acabar el año con casi 40.000 puntos de recarga. 👉 En EL ESPAÑOL hemos preguntado a cerca de 20 operadores para conocer los datos de cada uno de ellos recopilando cerca de 30.000 puntos, el 81% del total. 👉Como principales hitos podemos decir que Iberdrola, junto con su 'joint venture' Iberdrola | bp pulse ha superado los 8.100 puntos de recarga y que Repsol también ha alcanzado la cifra de 2.000 puntos de recarga. 👉 Y ahora vamos con los RANKINGS.
