“Everyone has the responsibility of being advocates of inclusivity.” Last month, Haikal Lim, Director of Product & User Experience (UX), SEPHORA Southeast Asia and Oceania, spoke on a panel – “A Dialogue on Culture and Ethnicity” – at the third edition of LVMH Voices of Inclusion Week. Along with esteemed panelists from various cultures and backgrounds, Eva Hoffmann from LVMH Fragrance Brands, Olia Gong from Christian Dior Couture, and Ella Badis from LinkedIn, as well as the moderator, Irene Yip from LVMH, they delved into cultural and ethnic diversity themes and shared tips for greater inclusivity at the workplace. These include being culturally sensitive when communicating with one another and how to empower people around us to speak up on discriminatory behaviours. 2024 SEPHORiA world tour! 🌟 🌏 With over 25 000 attendees across five cities - Atlanta, Paris, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro and Dubai - SEPHORA brought the biggest beauty event of the year! SEPHORiA was born in Los Angeles in 2018, and is now a global celebration, marking its debut in Brazil and the UAE. It is the beauty rendez-vous where our community connects with their favourite brands and beauty icons. This year, attendees got to discover more than 200 brands showcasing their latest and exclusive products, participate in 76 masterclasses led by founders and experts, and fully immerse themselves in the Beauty Funhouse 💄. Today we celebrate Émilie Cariou, our newest SEPHORA Virtuoso inaugurated in the prestigious LVMH Métiers d’Excellence ceremony in Paris earlier this month. Emilie, Store Manager in Brest, France has built a beautiful career with Sephora in the last 13 years and is known for her strong communication and collaboration, and her ability to identify and develop talents within her team. She is now part of the 68 new LVMH Virtuosos from around the world, each embodying the excellence of time-honored tradition and an exemplary career journey at an LVMH Maison. As a part of this commitment, each year, we activate a week, fully dedicated to learning, in which all of our HQ employees worldwide participate. Sephora has been honored for the second consecutive year at the LVMH Inclusion Index Awards, a recognition of our leadership in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This year, we've been celebrated with the award for diversity of Origins, for the "Sephora Talent Incubator Program" in North America. This structured mentoring and coaching program is designed to build the next generation of diverse leaders at Sephora. Since its inception in 2021, the "Sephora Talent Incubator Program" has seen over 200 mentees graduate across our offices, stores, and distribution centers.
